Young boy mauled by dog

Our client was a young boy dropped off at his friend’s home for a playdate.  The friend placed the family dog on a leash and then told our client to come inside the home.  However, the friend was unable to control the family’s pit bull.   Although unprovoked, the pit bull attacked our client, violently biting, scratching and mauling him.  Our client suffered wounds to his scalp, hand, arm and back.
