Women Attacked by City of Seattle Canine-in-Training

A woman’s roommate was a member of the City of Seattle Canine Unit.  The roommate was the handler for a canine known as “Thor” that was approximately 1 1/2-years old.  The dog had not yet completed training; however, the dog had experienced issues during training.  While our client was home, standing behind a couch folding laundry, the subject dog attacked her on the arms and back.  Although the City attempted to minimize our client’s injuries, after filing a lawsuit we successfully settled our client’s claims.

Total Settlement: $105,000
