An 11-year old boy was attacked by his friend’s dog. Our client knocked on his friend’s front door. When his friend opened the door, the family dog attacked our client biting his upper right arm. The dog bite required plastic surgery to treat the bite wound. The dog owners had renters insurance with State Farm. Despite nearly $30,000 in medical bills, State Farm initially offered only $15,000. We filed a lawsuit against the dog owners and obtained a full $100,000 policy limits settlement from State Farm.
